Saunas

Maikkula offers excellent possibilities for taking a sauna even with a larger group in charming river scenery. The estate’s Saunaranta or sauna beach is at the bank of Oulu River. There one can find a traditional atmospheric Savusauna or smoke sauna with mild and mellow steam and heat. In addition, one can find from Saunaranta the timber-heated Korsusauna or dugout sauna and an electrically heated Lohisauna or salmon sauna. One can easily duck to the summery refreshing river from all the saunas. At Saunaranta even a group of 100 can take a sauna at the same time.

Sauna fees include basic detergents, seat covers and 20 towels.
